You are permitted to do so. So long as you are at the helm of affairs. It is our responsibility to know what goes on around us but where it hurts, withdraw.
Too many rumours are on the spread because those who are not qualified to look into matters did so. It is not everybody that is allowed to speak into your life. Whether they be good or bad words. The only way out is this: let only those people you trust look into your matter.
There is a difference between instructions and suggestions. Instructions are meant to be carried out while suggestions can be looked into for considerations. Whether they're to be accepted or dropped are based on the recipient's way of judgement.
Consider every opportunity that comes your way and choose the one that you would go for. It is not all that glitters that is gold. So, judge scenarios wisely before going into action but never judge a book by its cover.
