I would that you should speak wholesome words everywhere whether you are married, single or searching. 

3. Watch your back

Nnah ee, it seems to me that the law of nature has it that motion must be involved. It is either you are chasing something or that something is chasing you. At times, I begin to wonder if there is any place of rest in this world and if there is, I don't think that I have been able to find it. Do everything within your reach to keep your home unbroken ! One day, you are going to be walking on the road and you would come across a person that you have never known and the person would be in a bad condition. You would want to help the person but you are more likely to contemplate on it and still move on. 

On that day, the person would not say anything. He would go just about two poles away and nod his head in the affirmative while he watches you as you make your way out of the place. He is the unknown guest. 

He does not look for anybody's trouble. He does not ask for help because he expects help from people naturally. 

He cannot say anything because he doesn't have a voice nor a say in the society. He is downtrodden. 

Some people are like that; they need something but they cannot say it because they don't know if you would take them for granted. They need water but they cannot ask for it because they don't know if the last cup that you have is all that you have got. They need shelter but they cannot say it because they don't even know if your roof is leaking. Help them now, help the unknown (not just your neighbours whom you expect to get something from in return or your relatives whom you see as gods), help the downtrodden, the sick, the deaf and the dump, the children and the men in the street who can't confess to you that they have not eaten since morning yet they perm their hairs and put on earpiece while walking like nothing is wrong, help yourself. 

Because they do not know whether you have or not, they are justified for not asking. At times, call somebody and say, "what do you need ?" Even though they may not ask you for help, you may be surprised at the answers that would come out of their mouths. Some might be interested to know how to catch the fish while some might just need a piece of it. It's up to you to decide which one you give but in all, be genuine.

That is the new resolution. Help people even when they did not ask for it (so long as you feel like), just don't let them hurt you while you're at it and do not let them perceive your question as an insult or as an intrusion, skip the delay.

But in all this, we can make amends because the life that we live now is the past that we will have some day in the future. So, what we do now matters. 

Learning how to drive is not the same thing as learning how to fly. Receiving without showing appreciation is not a good habit. 

Know what you want, go for it. So long as it is not propelled by the wrong motives, then you can have it. Once in a while, help others. As often as possible, do so. Success comes from God but we can invoke it upon ourselves by working diligently. 

Anything that can stop your mind from producing good and awesome ideas had no good intention for your life: stop it ! 

At times, the reason why we run out of ideas is because we need to think outside of the box and not to quit. If everybody thinks the same way, the world would be a whole boring place but never mind, different ideas make up a wholesome act. Why not think differently? Act now while you have the opportunity to do so because nobody can guarantee your future if you don't live your now well.

 Of all the adages that I have ever come across, this one seems to be the most obnoxious one: A good market sells itself. Which by the way, is an adage that has been translated from the Igbo language one that, "Afia Oma Na-ele Onwe Ya"  but it is not so because in our modern day marketing, everything needs advertisement except if the thing is not good for public consumption, albeit, I believe in the one that says: A good name is better than wealth which is translated from the Igbo language saying that, "Ezi Afa Ka Ego. " 

I am not trying to cast disparity between the both rather I am trying to say things as they are. What you think is not actually what it is. You may think that people hate you because of one problem or the other that you are facing but it is not like that. They do so because there is something coming your way but you cannot afford to look back. When people love you, it is not because you worth it. It is because they choose to do so. So, appreciate it. 

Respect is reciprocal. Do not expect to find food where there has been no works at all and do not expect to find faith where there are no challenges. So, boost your faith in God. 

Nobody knows tomorrow and no one will judge you except when you give them the chance to do so. Do not allow miscreants to bring polluted ideas into your mind but stand on your feet and think. 

You alone can handle this if it is actually the kind of life that God gave you to live but you can ask for help when the need arises. Do not wallow in myriad of thoughts that do not profit you anything but help yourself by helping others. In that way, the society grows. 

To avoid decay, one must stay away from rottenness and to avoid death, one must stay away from danger but in all this, keen observation is required. Stay fit and stay safe and whenever the need arises, act !

That I do know but to tell you when is what I do not know for a certain. In fact, it is not my preoccupation. It is the catching away of the Believers into heaven. It will be quick. 

Of a truth, a lot of people have forgotten this and have gone their separate ways without minding whose ox is gored but there is always a day of reckoning.

The last days are here with us already. There is no doubt about that. So, whenever you are talking about where to be in the future, what to eat or what you should wear, also know that God is good and that His mercies endure forever.

 I wake up this morning feeling fragile rather than agile and I wondered if this was how I was going to make it in life since everywhere seems to be with problems but as I remembered the saying that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, I was encouraged to move on. After all, Jesus Christ is the only light that I see and some people have been here before and they didn't die. So, why should I die? 

I looked at the little money in my pocket and I remembered how that we used to buy a .com.ng domain for just N1,200 in those days and I wondered where this country is heading to but there is hope. So, I believe. 

I thought of Ocha, I thought of so many other people but nothing came into my mind. So, I decided to write this. I may not be the best man on Earth but this is how a typical day in my life is. To crown it all, I do not even know what my next steps are but all are in the hands of God as I am a Walkahic in my right standing. 

As confused as I am, I have not been able to Backup the contents of this blog to any storage device. So, if anything should happen and there is a loss of data (which I am not praying for either), then I will just jakpa !

WHILE IN UNIZIK..

I built a family that I can be proud of. It is just that nowadays, we can only reachout to another by proxy but it is well because I know what we are capable of doing when we're together. 

While in Unizik, I learnt how to stay on my own. It is not because I do not know who to talk to but due to the fact that I had to observe, I remained quiet and paid attention. Beside me were men and women of various professions yet we claimed to be studying Microbiology all in the name of graduating one day and then landing one job or the other some day, which are few by the way. But before that, I make bold to say that some of us had discovered the way out of poverty right on time. After all, we are said to be ubiquitous. So, it does not come as a surprise. 

I once told a colleague of mine that I met one of those days at a Canteen while in school that I respect most of the women in my world and most especially those in my department as at then because they're industrial but he never understood me because he did not seem to understand what concerns studying Microbiology as a course in the university especially in a country such as Nigeria with being an  industrious person but I knew what I was saying because I had studied the people around me. Some of them were Builders, some of them were Teachers, some of them were Business Tycoons, some of them were Writers, some of them were into events coverage, some of them were Pastors, some of them were Student Leaders ( do not be surprised to hear that we have produced a President before and we are more likely to do it again), some of them were Hairstylists, some of them were Bitcoin Traders and some of them were Painters and Website Owners to mention but a few. So, I did not roll with dullards but I minded my business to the best of my ability. 

Looking back now, I can only say that the school environment was just a grooming ground for me and for any one else who knew what he or she went there for in the first place. 

I am not confused; I am the Imiano and I know what I am saying. Blessings can come from anywhere but it is good to know what you can offer because opportunities can come unannounced and you must be prepared to allow them usher you in into the realm of unending impossibilities. That notwithstanding, we came prepared because we passed through the best calibre of Lecturers that the world could have offered as at then.
